Reach to the Sky
is an outstanding collection of songs for young people
that reflects Sue Ribaudo's experience as a teacher and
folk musician. Sue's repertory includes her own
compositions and the best in contemporary and traditional
children's songs — and there are nexamples of each
in this collection. She travels nationally to perform for
libraries, schools, festivals, and conferences. Sue has a
master's degree in child development from the University
of Rochester (New York) and is on the board of the
Children's Music Network, a growing national organization
that promotes quality music for children.
In addition to the melody, chords, and words for each
of the songs, Sue has added suggestions for related
activities and a bibliography of her favorite resources.
